Essential Functions & Primary DutiesGain an understanding and assist in planning multiple audit assignments in Real Estate, Construction, Nonprofit, Manufacturing and many more industriesExecute solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, quality control standards and technology implementation procedures relative to individual client assignmentsParticipate in client assignments from beginning to endIdentify and communicate audit issues, technical matters and improvement opportunities with senior associates, managers, and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit processDevelop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationshipsPledge to provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness, and commitment to understanding their goals and needsMaintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conductAssist with training and mentoring junior associates and interns on MHM audit methodologyPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferredCPA eligible and/or desire to obtain certification preferredInternship experience in accounting or related field preferredMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree requiredExcellent interpersonal, analytical, research and audit project management skills, and have basic knowledge of GAAP and GAAS rules, procedures and standardsDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externallyAbility to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environmentStrong verbal and written communications skillsStrong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and audit softwareMust be able to travel based on client and business needsCompensationThe annual salary target for this job in this market is $71,000-$75,000.
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on education, experience and skill set of the individual selected for this position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
