Senior Accountant - Strong PE Backed Firm!About our client:
Our client is the leading designer and supplier of decorative high-quality carpet, custom fabricated rugs and hard surfaces.
They have grown substantially over the past fifteen years and are looking for a Senior Accountant to be a part of the company's long-term growthThis role will be reporting into the Controller with visibility to the CFO and Senior Management.
There is a growth opportunity in the position to be the right hand of the Controller in the near future.
This role will be in the office daily in their beautiful and spacious office.
They don't work crazy hours therefore there is a great work/life balance for an individual.

What you'll do as a Senior Accountant:
Prepare journal entries and assist with the month-end and year-end closings Prepare and reconcile monthly bank reconciliations Review daily bank activity for accuracy Analyze gross profit reports for monthly reporting package Assist in analyzing inventory variances and trends Assist with year-end certified audit requirements by investigating and resolving audit findings Assist in the preparation of expense budgets and budget versus actual variance analysis.
Variance analysis of outgoing freight to ensure reaching pricing strategies Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns Assist with additional analysis, tasks and special projects as neededWhat you bring as the Senior Accountant:

years of relevant accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceSalary up to $110K depending upon experienceStrong Excel experience with exposure to an ERP system such as:
